Events relevant to ELL staff are listed below. Where more information is available, a link to that information is provided.

Use the Calendar Graphic on the right to navigate to a specific date. Dates in bold indicate an event on the calendar.  Clicking on a specific date will show you events scheduled for that date. 

Where information from an outside source is available, links have been provided. 

Email links have been provided where available, but you will have had to set your browser up to handle email.  If you have any items you would like added to the ELL calendar, please contact your TOSA.

SPPS Board of Education approved at its regular meeting June 17 the school district's budget for the 2008-09 school year. It includes $476 million of expenses for the General Fund, the largest part of the budget that includes the K-12 education program for student achievement.

In order to ensure that families and students are able to celebrate the hard work students have made on their paths to graduation, Saint Paul Public Schools is providing free transportation to and from the RiverCentre.

The Summer Food Service Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture begins Monday, June 9 and ends Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. Meals will be available at over 90 sites throughout the city.

IDEA Lab Grand Opening will feature student work including a new flour scoop created for a local bakery and a collapsible crutch made to help a person with a prosthetic leg. Also present at the event will be products from two FIRST Robotics teams and the Supermileage car, which is competing today in Brainerd.

The honorees are the first SPPS students to be honored by the Wallin Scholarship Program, which works to encourage and support students who might not otherwise attend or graduate from college.
