Graduation Paths

Graduation paths have been developed for students who have limited formal schooling and who have enough time to complete the requirements before their 22nd birthday.  The text below is the same for all four of the graduation plans attached below.  Each of the 4 programs, however, have their own path based on course offerings, etc.

Text from the Graduation Path documents:

This document is a GRADUATION PATH.  A graduation path is a plan that shows how students can graduate meeting all Minnesota state graduation requirements.

The GRADUATION PATH is designed to help new arrival ELL students meet the graduation requirements in four years.

The GRADUATION PATH shows which courses students need to take during their four years in high school in order to meet all of the graduation requirements.

Important things to know about the GRADUATION PATH:
  • Students must pass all of their classes in order to graduate on time.
  • The four-year plan requires that students attend summer school for three years.
  • Students might take elective classes (like art and physical education) in a different order than the order shown in the GRADUATION PATH.
  • Different high schools have different schedules. Transferring from one high school to another may affect the students GRADUATION PATH.
If you have questions about this Graduation Path, please see your school’s counselor.
