A World of Welcome is the theme for the English Language Learner programs for 2007-2008.  We strive to provide a welcoming environment for all students - regardless of their language abilities. 

The purpose of this section is to give a brief but broad description of:

• what the English Language Learner Department does,
  
• how our students are determined to be eligible for ELL service,
  
• the demographics of those students
• some background on the languages and cultures that they represent
• and how ELL fits into the larger scope of the district
